　電影「萬花嬉春」（Singing in the rain）是歌舞片的經典之作，也是舞王金凱利最膾炙人口的作品。金凱利在大雨街頭中邊跳邊唱出的同名主題曲，因為那令人難忘的一幕，也成為百聽不厭的西洋老歌

Edelweiss是德文，也有人翻成"雪絨草"，是奧地利的國花。

電影「真善美（The Sound of Music）」改編自故事女主角瑪利亞1949年的真人真事傳記「The Story of The Trapp Family Singers」。該書名在台灣譯為「真善美的故事」（原用"達菩之家"為譯名，後因電影「真善美」大受歡迎，乃於第二版時改名為「真善美的故事」），由丁貞婉女士譯，先知出版社出版（62年7月三版），譯筆非常流暢。

「The Story of The Trapp Family Singers」記載從瑪利亞離開本篤會修院，到達菩上校家擔任家庭老師，一直到全家逃離奧地利至美國開始新生活，並如何在困苦中，使The Trapp Family Singers（達菩之家合唱團）在美成名經過。瑪利亞以輕鬆筆法寫出其中的悲與歡，讀起來令人感動。特別是她樂觀信心的態度，說明了信仰對她的影響
